Since a live alligator mascot program was not sustainable for Florida for obvious reasons, you'll find tributes to the university's gator mascot across campus in statue form. The gator head in this design closely resembles the Bull Gator statue at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, first dedicated in 2008.
