Northern Iowa Sleeping Panther Vintage Heavyweight Tee

We found this particularly relaxed panther on the back of a vintage UNI jacket. Though UNI has used the “Panthers” nickname since the 1930’s, their mascot was nameless for several years, eventually settling on “The Cat” in the ‘80s. Eventually, though, specific panther mascots came to life – TC and TK Panther, who represent UNI to this day.
